Straight Talk Thursdays – A Plea To The Seasoned Married Women

In this video I talk about my desire for more guidance and transparency from the older/seasoned married women being a newlywed myself. Titus 2:1-5 tells the older married women to teach and be an example to the younger married women and this is my plea because that guidance is really needed. Simply put, we need you.

Titus 2:1, 3-5 – But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Givin’ It To you Straight,

I’ve been married going on 12yrs. As a Christian wife it still wasn’t all that easy but with Gods help he saw me through. Two coming together as one is a big challenge, learning to cope with the way he or she likes things, cleanliness, disagreements, hey we are human. It’s a place of humility! You have to learn to become humble. Submission is done voluntarily out of love and respect and obedience to Christ. Love your husband no matter the place he’s in. Try to kept the peace in doing so you will see God fight your battles, agree to disagree. Respect him as leader of your home. Men like to feel superior, it’s God ordain. You really have to put your faith in God. Pray for you Husband that Gods will be done in his life.
